Real Talk About Abortion, Voting Rights, Same Sex Marriage, and Paula Deen

A lot of things happened in the United States last week.  National Conversation engaged over Paul Deen use of the word nigger.  The Supreme Court decided the powers of the Voting Rights Act no longer necessary.  The court also decided same sex couples are protected under the equal protection clause.  Roe vs Wade never far from the court.

Is nigger covered under free speech?  Is it just an anti - social, politically incorrect, or denigrating term.  The power stripping of the Voting Rights Act is going to require diligent observation.  Latinos will be profiled across the country.

Choice is not a constitutional privilege.  Choice depends on what you can afford.  Since it is your choice, you pay for it.

The Hebrew Bible Old Testament revealed polygamy a standard practice among men who could afford the choice.  God gave no prohibitions against polygamy but did against cross - cultural mating.

In our time we have said it is OK.  Did God change God's mind about it or did people?

God did not prohibit slavery in the Hebrew Bible Old Testament.  That record was mentioned prominently by apologists for slavery in Antebellum America.

In our time we have said it is not OK.  Did God change God's mind about it or did people?

Sam sex coupling challenges the historical perception of what God has had to say.  Is what is regarded the truth in the first century the truth in the 21st?
